Born in Casablanca and driven by avant-garde acoustic fusions, Ali Smairkandi — artistically known as BRGNE — embodies a bold, contemporary vision of Moroccan music production. At the crossroads of hip-hop/trap beatmaking, analog summation, and rich raï & chaâbi heritage, he sculpts singular sound identities recognized nationally and internationally.
1. Genesis, Beatmaking & Musical Awakening in Casablanca (2014-2017)
From 2014, Ali immersed himself in digital composition and beatmaking. In 2017, based in Casablanca, he structured his craft around digital audio workstations (FL Studio), developing keen sensitivity for 808 percussion textures, harmonic sampling, and acoustic innovation.
2. Hybrid Signature, National Hits & Audio Engineering (2018-2023)
His momentum surged with major productions for prominent figures in the urban landscape, including the iconic track « Plainte » (Dollypran feat. Moro). Continuously refining his signal chain (Universal Audio, HD conversion, analog summing bus), he initiated a groundbreaking collaboration with Mustapha Bourgogne on « Chehal Tsanitak Ma Jiti », surpassing 3 million views.
3. Foundation of BRGNE Records & The Signature Studio (2024-2026+)
A true visionary, Ali materialized the ambition of an all-encompassing independent ecosystem by establishing BRGNE Records and The Signature studio in Casablanca. He oversees artistic direction, executive production, and precision mastering for ambitious records, elevating emerging talents and legacy icons alike.
